Part of our California nature jewelry series, this stunning, rustic necklace features an approximately 1.25" x 0.25" / 3cm x 1cm cast recycled 925 silver earring set cast from a real White Sage (Salvia apiana) leaf, with a unique hexagonal bail. Salvia apiana, the white sage, bee sage, or sacred sage is an evergreen perennial shrub that is native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, found mainly in the coastal sage scrub habitat of Southern California and Baja California, on the western edges of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts. It is considered a sacred plant by indigenous tribes of southern California who use it for both food and ritual purposes. It is also commonly thought in popular American culture to remove bad vibes when burned. There is concern that the plant may be over-harvested in the wild but our pendant is cast from a leaf grown in our backyard in Northern California.

The pendant is cast in solid 925 Sterling Silver, a traditional alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper added for hardness and durability. The earrings come with 0.75" / 2cm 925 silver endless hoop earrings, made of work-hardened tubing and wire. Made with love in Northern California.

Ready to ship, ships within 3-5 business days from our San Francisco Bay Area studio.
