Vesica Piscis Cast Sterling Silver Earrings - Sacred Geometry - Healing

The Vesica Piscis ("fish bladder" in Latin) is a geometric construction that is the intersection of two circles with the same radius, intersecting in such a way that the center of each circle lies on the perimeter of the other. This shape has been the subject of mystical speculation throughout recorded history. It is viewed as important in Kabbalah study, is considered by contemporary New Age mystics to be a representation of the divine feminine mystery, and has been important in art and ritual for various religions and groups such as the early Christian Church. The Vesica Piscis was also used as proportioning system in architecture, in particular Gothic architecture.

This Vesica Piscis necklace is made from Sterling Silver, a traditional alloy of silver and copper. On the metaphysical level, silver is reflective and is said to mirror the soul, bringing people calm and balance. Silver is used to "draw down the moon," giving the wearer use of the moon's energy and protecting them from negativity.

The sterling silver pendants are made using lost-wax casting. The piece was finished and polished by hand. All Biomorphics silver castings are made using recycled silver, sourced from a local refiner who uses scrap metal from the Silicon Valley e-waste stream. Made with love in Northern California.
