The Flower of Life is a name for a geometric figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles. This figure, used as a decorative motif since ancient times throughout cultures the world over, forms a flower-like pattern with the symmetrical structure of a hexagon. In New Age thought, the Flower of Life has provided what is considered to be deep spiritual meaning and forms of enlightenment to those who have studied it as sacred geometry.
This Flower of Life stencil has been lasercut from 0.7mm Duralar, a clear, flexible, and durable polyester sheet. This tough material is what many professionals use for making stencils. Unlike acetate, it will not degrade over time.
The stencil is 14" x 11", with each repetition of the pattern being 5" across. It is designed to repeat at each side, making painting using it easy! It will produce a negative image of the Flower of Life wherever you paint with it. Perfect for walls or other large areas. Works great on windows too - last image shows painting done on glass using this stencil. We recommend that a small amount of repositionable spray adhesive be used with this stencil. Use with spray paint or a roller.
Please note that there may be some scorch marks remaining from the laser cutting process - this is normal as this manufacturing technique uses a high-powered light to burn through the stencil material.
