Coast Live Oak (
Quercus agrifolia) is an evergreen oak native in Coastal California from Mendocino County south to Northern Baja California, Mexico. Mature specimens can live up to 250+ years, reaching a height of 30-82 ft. The mature trunk is contorted, massive, and gnarled, lending a unique appearance to the tree, a symbol of the California Coast.
